Open Call for Artists – “FORMS on the wall”

The Stage Gallery invites artists to apply for the group exhibition “FORMS on the wall.”

We are looking for works that explore form, materiality, and three-dimensionality in relation to the wall. The exhibition focuses on objects, reliefs, sculptural works, and experimental formats that exist between painting and sculpture while occupying wall space.

“FORMS on the wall” examines the relationship between surface, space, and object — from minimal structures to organic, expressive, or conceptual works.

We welcome artworks that engage with material, depth, texture, and perspective while expanding the traditional idea of wall-based art.

All media and artistic approaches are welcome, including:

  • Wall objects
  • Reliefs
  • Sculptural works
  • Mixed Media
  • Textile works
  • Collage
  • Experimental materials & installations

Opening: Wednesday, November 18th, 2026

Exhibition duration: until November 22nd, 2026

Participation is on a first come, first served basis.

Registration deadline: as long as space is available!

Participation info
  • Exhibition duration: 5 days
  • Open: Wed. – Fri. 2 – 6 p.m., Sun. 2 – 5 p.m. (no counselling and no sales on Sundays).
  • Format: max. 50 cm per artwork (longest side, including frame + 5 cm, if applicable).
  • Participation fee: € 99 (including 19% VAT) for up to 2 artworks.
  • In case of sale we charge a commission of 15% of the sales price.
  • The registration/application by e-mail obliges the participant to take part – after a successful jury assessment.
