Small works. Big impact.
Following the success of the first two editions, Das kleine Format returns for its third edition – this time as the X-mas edition.
For the exhibition, we are looking for small-format works in all media: painting, photography, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, collage, mixed media and more.
Whether bold or understated, playful or conceptual, experimental or classic – we are interested in works that show how much expression, idea and impact can be contained within a small format.
The pre-Christmas season provides a special setting for the exhibition: Small artworks are accessible, collectible and easy to integrate into personal living spaces – making them particularly appealing to new buyers and art collectors.
We are looking for works that catch attention and make people want to take them home.
Participation
- Maximum size: 30 × 30 cm per work
- Media: all media
- Theme: open

Opening: Thursday, November 26th, 2026
Exhibition duration: until December 2nd, 2026
Participation is on a first come, first served basis.
Registration deadline: as long as space is available!
- Exhibition duration: 7 days
- Open: Tuesday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday + Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Format: max. 30 cm per artwork (longest side, including frame, if applicable)
- Participation fee: €99 (incl. 19% VAT) for up to 3 artworks. An additional participation fee of €99 applies for the 4th to 6th artwork, and so on.
- Sculptures and objects: on request
- In case of sale we charge a commission of 15% of the sales price.
- Registration/application by email is binding – participation is required after successful selection.
