The Stage Gallery is looking for artists for the group exhibition ‘Das kleine Format’ (The Small Format) – an exhibition that shows how powerful art can be even on a small scale.
Whether delicate, experimental, loud or quiet: we look forward to seeing works that tell big stories in a small format.
What we are looking for
Maximum 3 artworks per artist
Maximum size per artwork: 30 × 30 cm
Media:
Photography, painting, drawing, illustration, collage and mixed media
Focus: contemporary art in small format
‘Das kleine Format’ is an invitation to rethink concentration, detail and creative freedom.

Exhibition duration: until May 3rd, 2026
Participation is on a first come, first served basis.
Registration deadline: as long as space is available!
- Exhibition duration: 5 days
- Open: Tuesday to Friday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (no consultations or sales on Sundays)
- Format: max. 30 cm per artwork (longest side, including frame, if applicable)
- Participation fee: € 69 (including 19% VAT) for max. 3 artworks
- We do not charge commission on sales!
- Registration/application by email is binding – participation is required after successful selection.
