The Stage Gallery invites artists to participate in the exhibition ‘Monochrome’. This exhibition is dedicated to the art of reduction to a single colour and its shades and explores the creative possibilities of monochrome works. Artists are invited to submit their interpretations and perspectives on the expressive power of colour minimalism.

The works submitted must deal with the use of a single colour or shade. Whether painting, photography, sculpture or mixed media, the monochrome approach should be the central means of expression, while variations in texture, form and light enhance the depth of the work.

All artistic techniques are permitted, including painting, photography, sculpture, digital art and mixed media. The works can be abstract or realistic as long as they respect the monochrome approach.

This call is open to all artists, regardless of their artistic background or experience.

In order to present our visitors with as much diversity as possible, only one work per artist is permitted – ‘salon hanging’. Sold works can be replaced with new ones during the exhibition.
